Arrival by Car in Lithuania

If you go on a trip by car, you can arrive in Vilnius by the following roads:

Vilnius - Kaunas - Klaipeda - motorway A1 (E270)
Vilnius - Panevezys - motorway A2 (E272)
Vilnius - Minskas - motorway A3 (P28)
Vilnius - Varena - Gardinas - motorway A4 (P42)
Vilnius - Utena - road No. 101
Vilnius - Svencionys - Zarasai - road No. 102

The city has many car parks, you are sure to find a parking place for your car there. In the centre of the city, in Gediminas Avenue there is a large underground multi-storied car park next to Tilto Street.

If you have decided to park your car on the street in the centre of the Old Town, you will have to pay 2-4 Litas per hour. You can pay at the parking meter installed next to the car parks or in the streets. The usual parking time for which you have to pay is from 8.00 am to 8.00 p.m. on working days. It is indicated on signposts.
